About the Trustees
Milton Keynes Village Hall was built in 1859 as the village schoolroom.

In 1946, the school closed when the Merchant Venturers’ Society took over the estate.  The building was used for meetings and village activities until it was sold by the Dioceses of Oxford in 1960 to the Merchant Venturers’ for £450.

It was later acquired by a Trust, for the use of  the two villages of Milton Keynes and Broughton

Milton Keynes Village Hall has been sympathetically restored, retaining many of it’s original features.
Milton Keynes Village Hall is run by an elected team of voluntary Trustees.

The Trustees meet every month to ensure the hall is managed and maintained to a high standard.
Milton Keynes Village Hall is a fantastic venue for children’s and family parties.

It is a recognisable landmark in the heart of Milton Keynes Village, once being the village school and is run by a dedicated voluntary Management Committee, who are elected Trustees, ensuring the maintenance of the building and continued usage.  It now provides a home for a number of local community groups and is available to hire at weekends.
